
Mass for the 20th anniversary of Fr. Giussani's death
Wednesday, 26th February, 7 pm, St. George's Cathedral, LondonOn the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the death of the Servant of God Fr. Luigi Giussani (Feb. 22, 2005) and the 42nd anniversary of the pontifical recognition of the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation (February 11, 1982), Masses are scheduled to be celebrated and around the world, presided over by cardinals and bishops.
The intention for the Masses:
In this Jubilee Year, let us ask Mary, “living fountain of hope”, for the grace to renew our fiat every day. May Our Lady of Lourdes protect the journey of the Fraternity and increase in us the gratitude for the gift of Fr. Giussani to our lives and the love for the Church we seek to serve. We invoke upon ourselves and the whole world the gift of peace.
The Most Reverend John Wilson, Metropolitan Archbishop of Southwark will celebrate mass in London on Wednesday, 26th February, at 7 pm, in St. George's Cathedral, London.
