"From my Life to Yours": An exhibition on Fr. Luigi Giussani

14-15 October, Lower Hall, Sacred Heart Parish, Edge Hill, Wimbledon, London, SW19 4LU

"I was thoroughly persuaded that a faith that could not be found or confirmed in present experience, that was not useful to its needs, would not be a faith capable of standing up in a world in which everything, everything, says the opposite."

On the weekend of Fr. Giussani's birthday, October 14 and 15, an exhibition on the life and teaching of the Servant of God and founder of the movement of Communion and Liberation. Fr. Giussani had intuited that Christ is the unifying centre of all reality, he is the answer to all human questions, the fulfilment of every desire for happiness, goodness, love and eternity present in the human heart. He understood that Christianity is an encounter, a love story, an event.

It will be an occasion to experience that "the discovery of a charism always happens through an encounter with real people. These people are witnesses who enable us to approach a greater reality, which is the Christian community, the Church" (Pope Francis).
